okay ive just watched inception.
the graphics awed me.
the idea was inspiring
some of the ideas really jolted me and made me very impressed.
but ive got some stuffs on my mind
like.
many people are saying that the ending isnt clear.
but.
to me that is damn clear?
people say
1. ending doesnt show whether it's dream or reality
2. is it a reality or a dream?
seemingly similar questions
but different point.
i'll address them right now
1. obviously, if the spinning totem is shaky shaky and looks like it's falling, obviously it's gonna stop spinning anytime soon by physics laws. if it's gonna continue spinning it is to maintain a centre of gravity right. so even though the movie doesnt show it's stopping, you should know it's gonna stop.
2. definitely after cobbs kills himself with the jap guy after being in limbo, the scene from the plane and after that (reunion with family) is reality. if you're stuck in limbo, it means you're out of a dream, you're still sleeping, but you're conscious and you know you're sleeping. if you're already out of ur dream, you kill urself and get jolted awake in limbo, of course ure out of the dream. because u weren't in a dream AT ALL?~
basically that's that lah.
and right.
it's surprising how.
cobbs and team seem to remember each and every detail as they move between the dream layers.
but.
the fischer guy doesnt? and like recalls details with difficulty.
next.
inception worked on mal because she was in a state of limbo,
and she locked her totem away
she wanted to believe it was the real world.
but cobbs persuaded her so much she believed him
but really when she locked her totem away you know she's a bit mental already.
from the long time trapped in limbo
she's definitely confused herself over which is real and which is not.
that's why the idea planted into her head could work because.
she didnt know what was real or not

but the thing is
in fischer's case.
he just dream of his father telling him to build his own empire.
and he woke up knowing it's a dream.
and he still believes it?
that's not going to convince me
PLUS.
destroying his father's empire is one thing.
selling it to another person to run is another thing.
have they thought of the fact that since they're almost monopolizing the power supply market.
if the company suddenly collapses.
the state would lack power supply?
and right.
fischer's definitely not so stupid as to just destroy the company like that
he'll just sell the company.
or let someone else run it.
and go build an empire of his own.
i got super confused at this part lah.
like the purpose of the inception didnt really match the client's goals.
